As of today I can professionally pack up your belongings and tape a box very well! I must of packed close to thirty boxes in the past few weeks, and have got better with each packing(if I may say so myself).
Today was the big move! HOLY SHIT, the next move will be into our own home and after that I plan to never to a move again. Seriously, I am exhausted. My entire body feels like its been thru a optical course. Not to mention my brain. My mind is overwhelmed with different emotions. Thoughts about this move. Tonight as I unpacked our clothes and placed them I my faher in law and mother in laws dressers, I was thinking how lucky we are that nana(mother in law), is giving us her room till we find a home. Then with that thought I was crying because I miss my cat, I miss my home. I quess I'm home sick..plus its hard to wrap my mind around that we just moved our stuff into a storage building.
The start of the morning was GO from the moment we stepped out of bed. My awesome nephews and their friend came to the house around eleven this morning to get the party started (and by party I mean moving boxes and furniture into the gigantic Uhaul hubby rented for the day). Even Chris came to help out. (Chris is Chucks lifelong friend, he and his beautiful wife and two little girls were also our neigbors for the past several years).
Well, what can I say they all made it happen. My mother in law stopped over to join in the fun too!
Tonight I lay in a different bed, a different house. Even my doggie Hannah is like "what the heck".
As for my Nadine, even though she's exhausted, she's still awake this rainy, chilly night. She's craving our routine, and misses her old room. She, as well as all of us are just trying to setlle our minds and bodies down, from a wild day of moving adventures. The important thing, we are altogether. New chapter begins now.
And yet you found time to blog! amazing! i give you credit girl...all of this change is not easy...but it is temporary! So you hang in there!
