It's a beautiful day

Beautiful day!

A afternoon spent at Tappen Park playground and Gazebo with my beautiful mommy friends as we celebrated our friend Nadine and her two lovely daughters Suvi and Lena. They will depart to Germany in a couple days.(nadine and suvi in picture trick treating last halloween).

Since home search began ,I've been out of the loop a bit as far as play dates for Nadine, and drink nights with the ladies.

I realized, as I've complained often about not being in Sea Cliff with my friends, there was Nadine ( not my daughter ), anticipating her move to Germany. (I'm moving 40 minutes away, that's nothing compared moving to Germany).

Although a native to Germany,
Leaving her friends and their kids is just as emotional for her, if not more , as it is for me.
I've said so many times, the group of mommy friends I've met since my Nadine was born, well..they. are all such beautiful ladies.
To find such treasures is rare!

One morning while our girls were in School Nadine and I shared our experiences about raising our gals in Sea Cliff. Nadine has a year on me, since Suvi is a year older then my Nadine. We both agree, how lucky we are to have a outstanding oppornity, for both our kids as well as ourselves. We both agree we are fortunate to have a vast support system of wonderful friends.

As we all gathered in the Gazebo at Tappen Park, to playdate and feast , our friend Jennifer sang a lovely song to Nadine. As her beautiful voice shone, I glanced at tearful Nadine.. I had to hold in my emotion( I'm one of those dysfunctional people if I start to cry,it may not end). I took a deep breath and caught the moment! Took in every second. I thought what great girls! Madilyn for putting together the memory album and rallying up the mom's to put pages together and get photos. Jennifer and Sarah for getting the playdate party in motion, and everyone else for doing their part. Some of us have known Nadine longer then others, but we were all there for the same reason, to cheer her on, as she picks up her family and moves back to Germany. Nadine, we wish you well! You are a fantastic mother, a beautiful lady and a wonderful friend. We love you and your two little girls very much!
