"MOMMY FRIENDS"

The new friendships Nadine and I made in this Village are awesome! Truely friendships that will last a lifetime weather we find a home in this town or not.

While with my lovely Nadine and they with there precious babies, most I have met in the parks, beach or pool here at Sea Cliff, . Some I met at the Village Childrens Library, Music Class or just on walks while I pushed Nadine in the stroller. I was lucky enough to have friends already here when I moved to Sea Cliff ( of which I had the pleasure of babysitting their beautiful babies ), and very fortunate to have met a great neighbor who also is a Mother ( whose son I also babysat for many years). I am so grateful to have the experiences and memories of watching their children and spending time with them, before Nadine was born. It only prepared me to be a better Mommy. Plus, it was like Nadine was born into a instant baby playgroup! And for those precious couple years and great memories, I'm fortunate!

When Nadine turned one, Spring had arrived and I was able to bring Nadine to the parks. The Parks is where our lives became a wide open "play ground" literally. Nadine made little friends, and so did I. I was relieved to get out, the weather was nice and we were meeting more Sea Cliffians. (mommys' like me). I met such extraordinary Woman. Seriously, the park is where the action happens! Then that Summer, when it was time to hit the Beach, forget about it..
Once she hit two, we were hopping from Park to Park, Beach to pool and house to house.

Not only are these ladies some of the best Moms I know, they are all soooooo intelligent, very funny, sincere and all so very different. I love each of there personalities very much!
Besides being mothers they are painters, veterinarian, musicians, teachers, interior designers, they are negotiators, ware house directors, organizers, students, sales agents, poets and writers.  Truely such a awesome girls!

It's now I wonder how I went for almost 33-38 years not knowing these ladies, while at the same time I feel like I know them all since I was young.
