A MESS

As of this morning, the house is a mess! Understand, I am not the neatest person in the world, but I don't like "ciaos mess". You know the kind where you can't even walk threw a room, things all over. I can't even fake a neat house at this point ( which is even more frustrating).
Its kind of overwhelming, its that messy.

I'm lucky though, after weeks of packing, hubby is also packing up things which makes it much easier when Nadine wants to play, run and be a almost 4 year old.

Which leads me to another topic today. CHASE. Our 15 year old kitty cat. As I mentioned Chase is going to stay at Dan's office. Hubby and I have mentioned to Nadine that Chase will stay with Dan at his work till we find a new home. Nadine acted like she got it all these weeks. In fact I brought her with me last night to the office to drop off some of Chases necessities and to show Nadine where Chase will be staying. She seemed very o.k with it all.

This morning, as I gathered up more of Chase's belongings , Nadine asked "Mommy, what are you doing". I replied.."I am getting together Chase's things so she has them when she stays with Dan". Nadine started to cry! "NO I don't want Chase to go". It was like I just told her the news. Ugh. Anyway. We'll see how it goes later. Right now she seems o.k. with it again. I don't think I realized this would impact a almost 4 year old. The good thing is we can visit Chase whenever we want, and we'll be near her substitute home almost daily and can pop in!

Tomorrow is the big day! The nephews are coming over to help hubby move the furniture into storage. It will be interesting to see how that goes. I'll have to take some pictures. It will be a good memory to have "family teamwork".
