the animals

Those who know me very well understand that when it comes to animals im a lover. Let me explain further so you can grasp what my dear friends endure with me.

One early rainy fall morning, when I was newly pregnant with Nadine ,I gave my friend Dan a ride to the airport. As we were on the road traveling on a tree lined, wooded area to get to the parkway I saw something move across the street which caused me to stop short. I immidiately questioned it aloud and dan replied  " it  was a leaf I  saw that too".  Of course I believed him.

Two days later he said to me "Patti that was not a leaf,it was a big frog but i didnt want to tell you because I knew you would of went to its rescue".     Now at first I was mad at him, then realized he would of had to follow his pregnant friend out of the car , into the rain, onto a busy street to rescue not only the frog, but me. Sooo I forgave him.

All that said, it's getting time to move on out of the house and we still need to find a home to live in! Chase, my kitty is 14 years old and can not come with us to stay at Chucks' Moms house ( due to the fact, that one of our previous cats attacked her.. he's since been put down to sleep. So you can imagine her fear of Cats).
The anxiety I have had to figure out where Chase will go while we stay with my mother in law till we find our new home. Finally Chuck said "what about Dan". It was like the clouds opened up in the sky, the stars flew all over the place and Angels came down  from the heavens! Dan was the answer!!

I sent Dan over a text, then called him. He did say "YES". He was happy to do it, which makes all so much better. Because I know he and his Dad will take care of her for me., with Kathleen ( Dans wife) and Dylan ( their son) as well.  This is such a hard thing for me. For almost 15 years Chase has been with me. Every night when I fall sleep she curls up on my belly or near my left hip. Then jumps off the bed and looks to sleep near Hannah ( our doggie). When I don't feel well, she comes over to me and purrs loudly. But I know for a little while she'll make friends with one of my best friends and I know he will take care of her for me.
BUT HE CAN NOT KEEP HER!
